Open Water Seminar
This year, we’re once again offering open water swimming workshops on four different dates. The sessions will be led by Palina Dubino.
Meet at 5:45 p.m. at the sailfish tents; the session starts at 6:00 p.m.
The maximum number of participants is 20 swimmers
Here’s what you can expect:
- Getting in and out of the wetsuit
- Orientation in open water
- Start training: from land and from the water
- Circling the buoy
- Tips and tricks for everyday swimming and competition
*To participate in the open water seminars, you’ll also need a ticket for the sailfish Swim Night. The price for admission to the beach and the parking ticket are not included!

SWIM NIGHTS
Join us every Thursday for open-water swimming at Langener Waldsee at the sailfish Swim Nights powered by Alpecin. Whether you’re a beginner or an open-water pro – the Swim Nights are a community event for everyone.
SWIMMING COURSE
The swim takes place in the Langener Waldsee. You can choose between different distances ranging from 800m to 3000m. The DLRG will ensure your safety.
WETSUITS - TESTING & HIRE
Hire a wetsuit from the sailfish test centre and try out the latest models straight away in open water.

FAQs
Where can I find a parking space?
Parking tickets are not sold at the on-site ticket offices.
We have therefore reserved parking spaces for you on a weekly basis, which you can book exclusively online every Thursday from 12 noon at the after-work rate.
Please note that the reserved contingent is limited and we cannot influence availability.
If our quota is exhausted, you have the opportunity to reserve parking spaces directly via the city of Langen's booking system from 5 p.m.

Please note: Access to the beach by car is only permitted with a valid online parking ticket. Parking tickets cannot be purchased at the ticket booths. If the parking lot is full, you will not be able to enter by car without a valid ticket.
Where can I store my valuables?
Don’t leave your valuables unattended on the beach! During the swim nights, you can store your valuables free of charge in the valuables bag we provide.
After your swim, simply collect them from the tent by showing us your swimming cap with your race number on it. That way, you can focus entirely on the swimming experience!
DLRG Water Safety Patrol
The dedicated team at the DLRG Langen branch is here to ensure your safety. The lifeguards are on duty with boats and SUPs to ensure a safe swimming experience.

Where can I buy a single-entry ticket for the beach?
If you’re visiting the beach on foot or by bike, you can pay the admission fee in cash on site. You can book a ticket online here:
