What does refurbished mean at sailfish?

Our refurbished wetsuits may include returned items or test suits that have already been used during test swims. Before being offered for sale again, every wetsuit is carefully inspected and professionally refurbished where necessary.

Fully ready to use. Visible signs of wear may be present, but these have been professionally refurbished or repaired where required.

This gives a technically sound wetsuit a second life instead of taking it out of use even though it still has many kilometres in the water ahead of it.

What does “Like New” mean?

Our Like New wetsuits are in particularly good condition. They may, for example, have been briefly tried on or returned and show no or only minimal visible signs of use.

These wetsuits are also inspected before being offered for sale, so you can rely on them in the water.

Refurbished or Like New – what is the difference?

The main difference is the cosmetic condition:

Like New: No or only minimal visible signs of use.
Refurbished: Visible signs of wear may be present and have been professionally refurbished or repaired where necessary.

In both cases, the wetsuits are inspected and fully ready to use.
